*CLOSED* Suntec City Joaquim Porridge Buffet

Most of us have probably passed by this place but not tried this before. So on a random weekday, both Picky Girlfriend and Fussy Boyfriend were craving for something light so we went Suntec City to have Porridge buffet! Ok the former is light, but not the latter ;)

And we were surprised that the eat-all-you-can porridge lunch buffet only cost $9.80NETT! And you can choose from plain porridge to fish porridge or even rice if you prefer.

Sounds like a good deal :)

Area where the condiments are. Picky Girlfriend loves the achar (pickled vegetables) alot as it is really appetising!

And just beside the condiments section, there's the Laksa section for those who want to try something other than the Porridge

There were quite alot to choose from hot selections, to cold condiments and even some desserts and selection of dim sum. Here's what we tried and we name this the "Porridge Buffet Collage"

Everything from eggs, thai sauced fish, braised tau kee, peanuts, chinese sausage, tofu etc etc.

And Fussy Boyfriend love the section where you can get roasted chicken!

The chicken was quite tasty that we took 2 servings of it!

Overall, it wasn't too bad an experience and for the price, it is really considered reasonable for a buffet lunch. It's also quite possible that we will bring our parents along the next time round as they are quite a fan of traditional porridge like this! However do note that dishes are subject to changes as these are not under a fixed menu.

Both Picky Girlfriend and Fussy Boyfriend's rating for Porridge Buffet: 3.25/5
